Waterfront fall wedding in Burlington, Ontario — Lauren + Mike

When the forecast called for rain all day, we all weren’t sure what to expect but knew we would make the best out of any weather situation. Luckily the rain not only held off but we had the most incredible day! Ending with peaks of sunset light that any photographer would be so happy with!

The morning of the wedding was spent at Lauren’s parents home in Oakville where she was able to prepare for her big day in the comforts of her childhood home, there were so many beautiful sentimental photographs throughout the house I knew this was going to be a special day! As the rain passed we sneaked outside for some shots with the family before heading to the venue at the Burlington Golf Course. Lauren posed in her newly bejewelled shoes which I was very jealous of! The florals and turquoise tones of the bridal party looked incredible especially with one bridesmaid rocking a jumpsuit! So many fun personalized details carried throughout the day.

The ceremony was held inside with the incredible view of the water. The evening was absolutely stunning with an incredible warm light, bringing guests outside to enjoy the view. Lauren and Mike have been together for over 10 years which proves their love and friendship is incredibly strong, weddings like these are so special for me to capture. I was so grateful to have shared such a special day with two incredible people. Here are some of my favourite moments captured that day.

We had the pleasure of working with Natalie for our engagement pictures and on our wedding day. Not only is Natalie a great friend, and a talented photographer, she is the quintessential professional. Our wedding party was not always the most cooperative and Natalie handled those goofs with an extreme amount of patience :) As a photographer, Natalie has the most amount of enthusiasm that I have ever seen- maybe even more than me on my own wedding day! She made it so easy to be comfortable and natural and kept us smiling and laughing the entire time. The pictures also turned out perfectly. I can’t recommend her enough! Thank you Nat for the beautiful pictures!
